Communications and Involvement Officer

Healthwatch is the independent health and social care consumer champion for local people who use health and social care services. We are supported by Healthwatch England to exercise our statutory duties to empower people to have a voice in how services are delivered.  The post will have overall responsibility for coordination and analysis of information generated by HWTW in conjunction with the engagement team and other HWTW personnelhow we can involve more people in HWTW. You will be creative, enthusiastic and able to plan and execute ways to engage local people including those from less heard and diverse communities. You will have proven skills in the use of social media and will be responsible for our information systems, website and the creative use of HWTW social media.  You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to relate to people face to face and by phone. 

The post is full time (30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days) with a salary of £21,400 per annum pro rata + pension contribution.
