SaTH goes red to raise awareness of Sepsis

Staff across the Trust which runs Shropshire’s acute hospitals wore red today (Friday 19 July) to raise awareness of Sepsis. 

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust joined Wear Red Day, organised by the UK Sepsis Trust. Across the Trust, scores of staff donned an item of red clothing (or a red wig!) to help raise awareness of Sepsis.

Sepsis is a serious complication of an infection. Without quick treatment, Sepsis can lead to multiple organ failure and death. Read more
