Free family carer dementia workshops, October

Home Instead, a company that offers various home care plans, is hosting a free workshop aimed at family carers of people with dementia.

The Home Instead Family Carer Workshop is a series of three, two-hour sessions for those living with, or supporting, a loved one who is living with dementia.

There are no more than six attendees, to encourage conversation and shared experiences.

The programme is a combination of information, practical advice, and guidance, as well as an opportunity to meet others who may be facing the same challenges, in a safe environment.

Anyone supporting a loved one with dementia - or their friends, family, or neighbours - can attend, and no diagnosis is needed.

The first of the sessions will take place on Wednesday 4 October 2023, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, at The Granary, Weston Park, TF11 8LE.
