Healthwatch supports RAF Cosford group to help armed forces carers

A Healthwatch director is raising awareness of a project at RAF Cosford that gives support to carers in the armed forces community.

David O’Loughlin, who is finance and quality assurance director at Healthwatch Telford and Wrekin, recently retired from the RAF following 48 years of uniformed service.

The RBL’s Network for Carers project holds a social group at the RAF Cosford Museum every third Friday of the month.

The group helps connect carers who have both caring responsibilities and an armed forces connection in common – so that carers can share experiences, build friendships and support one another.
