The survey for the phlebotomy services received over 3,500 responses, and more than 3,000 individual comments, plus eight focus groups were conducted to gather more in-depth feedback.
The findings are currently being analysed and a report will be produced shortly to summarise the information. The outcome of this will be used to help commissioners and clinicians within the local health system to identify improved ways to deliver blood taking services.
It is anticipated that these service options will be identified by September 2021.
The Phlebotomy Review Team would like to thank system partners for promoting the survey to patients. Please note that all promotional material and links to the survey can now be removed from websites.
