Mark Austin
Mark is a recently retired Deputy Headteacher of a large East London Primary School. Mark has worked in teacher training with both the University of Gloucestershire and Anglia Ruskin University aa both a Training Advisor and Senior Learning Mentor respectively. He has also worked as a Consultant/Trainer in safeguarding and SEND for a large teacher recruitment and training agency in London. Since retiring and moving back to Telford, his home town, Mark is Vice Chair of Governors of two Telford schools and Chairs a Governor's Committee at another Telford school. Mark also sits on Telford and Wrekin's Admissions and Exclusions panel and is a member of the Borough's Ageing Well Strategy.

Served in the Royal Air Force for 30 years as a aircraft engineer. Started wearing Hearing Aid in 2000, qualified as a Lipreading teacher in 2005. Harley is my second hearing dog I’ve had him 9 years. The Rottweiler for the hearing impaired community. Owner of Deafnable Ltd. Chairman of Shropshire Cricket Official Association. Volunteer for Independent Living Centre, Hearing dogs, Shropshire Cricket. Tutor for Shropshire Community Resources. As a veteran always on the lookout to help other veterans in all aspects
